IBM introduces Datacap V9.0
IBM® is pleased to announce the release of Datacap version 9.0, which now supports both internal and centralized document processing, as well as distributed and mobile transactional capture. It enables the capture and recognition of many document types, coming from different sources such as paper, fax, email, multifunction printers (MFPs), mobile devices, and more.

What new features does version 9.0 offer?
• A new and simple interface to configure capture flows quickly and without the need for programming, which increases its ease of use and faster implementation. Datacap Mobile Capture allows field workers and other remote users to capture documents through their smartphones or tablets, and publish directly to ECM repositories from anywhere.
• Transactional and distributed capture solutions turn typical office equipment, including networked scanners and multifunction devices, into powerful and convenient on-demand capture workstations, helping workers perform tasks such as adding follow-up documents to a case or onboarding a new client easily, quickly, and more accurately.
• Scan and capture integrations have been enhanced for IBM FileNet Content Manager, IBM Content Manager, IBM Navigator, and other content repositories, along with even easier access to document processing within IBM Case Manager.
