“Easy Drop” is an application with an intuitive interface which allows users to drag documents from any folder to the application and ultimately, uploading them to IBM’s Content Manager.
Database lookups can be done against your existing backend tables. This important feature will allow you to:
- Protect the quality of your content by ensuring the information being keyed in is one that exists in your backend. For example, “the Account Number is valid and exists in your current customer master file”.
- Repopulate fields based on the lookup rules. For example, the account number can automatically pull back the name, address, and phone number while using. This will minimize the effort required by the final user.
Users now can simplify and accelerate their workflow with Drag & Drop’s dynamic and graphic user interface. In addition, Rubber Band OCR can be used from the preview window, which automatically fills the mapping fields.
