MGEFI improves its customer service with Kofax

MGEFI (formerly known as GIE-Union Groupe Initiatives Mutuelles) is one of the largest mutual insurance consortia in France. Each of its eight member organizations provides health insurance to a specific French ministry. MGEFI decided to implement a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage its member relationships and increase responsiveness to its customers.

The solution

MGEFI's Kofax Capture™ solution, in use since 2006, integrated seamlessly with the new CRM system. To increase the capacity of the original Kofax Capture system, MGEFI implemented Kofax Transformation Modules. In addition to facilitating automatic document classification, page separation, data extraction, and validation, these modules enable automatic routing of documents to the appropriate individuals and departments.

The result

In one year, MGEFI digitized 2 million pages, compared to 1.2 million the previous year. As the entry point for the CRM system, Kofax products accelerate document identification and routing, enabling member organizations to be much more responsive to customers. Due to its incredible scalability, the Kofax solution empowers MGEFI to easily contribute and share tools while addressing the specific needs of each organization.
