Cookie Policy
What are cookies.
Cookies are small files or identifiers that a site stores or accesses in your browser. They allow it to remember information about the visit, keep active features running, protect forms, or understand how a page is used.
We can also use similar technologies—such as local storage, tags, or pixels—that perform comparable functions. In this policy, the word cookies include those technologies when appropriate.
How Yakidoo uses them.
Yakidoo uses cookies to:
- keep the site operational, secure, and accessible;
- remember your choices, including consent preference;
- detect errors and improve performance and navigation;
- obtain aggregate metrics on content usage, if you authorize it;
- measure campaigns or display integrated third-party content, when enabled and consent is given.
Non-essential cookies must not be loaded before you make an affirmative choice. Rejecting them does not prevent access to the essential content of the site.
What categories can the site use.
| Category | What is it for | Activation |
|---|---|---|
| NecessarySecurity, session, technical operation, and registration of your preference. | They allow pages to load, protect forms, and respect your cookie settings. | Always active |
| PreferencesOptions that personalize the experience. | They can remember language, region, display or other non-essential choices. | With your choice |
| AnalyticsMeasurement of usage and performance. | They help understand, usually in an aggregated way, what content works and where to improve. | With consent |
| Marketing and external contentThird-party campaigns and integrations. | They can measure conversions or allow videos, maps, calendars, chat, or external content. | With consent |
Classification depends on the actual function of each technology, not just the name assigned by its vendor.
Inventory, supplier and duration.
The exact list of cookies may change when the site is updated, a tool is added, or a provider is modified. The active preferences panel show the detected cookies, their category, provider, purpose, and current duration.
Depending on its duration, a cookie can be:
- session: it is deleted when closing the browser;
- persistent remains until its expiration date, until the provider replaces it, or until you delete it.
Yakidoo does not include generic cookie names that are not installed on the site. The inventory is obtained from the current technical scan and is kept synchronized with the consent dashboard.
Cookies and third-party content.
Some features may come from third-party providers —for example, analytics tools, spam protection, video, maps, calendar, chat, or social media—. If those features use non-essential cookies, they must remain blocked until your consent is obtained.
Third parties may process information in accordance with their own policies. The preference panel must identify the corresponding provider so that you can review it before accepting.
How to manage or withdraw your consent.
You can accept all categories, reject unnecessary ones, or select each one separately. Your decision is saved so the site can respect it.
You can reopen the panel and change the settings at any time. The new choice applies prospectively; it does not affect treatment validly performed before the change.
Controls available in your browser.
In addition to the site panel, most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. You can also configure restrictions for all sites or for a specific one.
If you delete the cookie or storage that preserves your decision, Yakidoo may need to ask you again. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain functions from operating correctly.
Cookies and personal data.
Some identifiers, IP addresses, or activity data may be considered personal data when they allow a person or device to be identified or distinguished. Their processing is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
When applicable, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, and portability through the contact form.
Changes and contact.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the technologies used, suppliers, legal requirements, or site operations. We will publish the current version and its update date here.
For questions about cookies or privacy, use the Yakidoo contact form and indicates that your request refers to preferences or personal data.
